Making Money Make Change (MMMC) is a three day annual retreat that brings together approximately 80 young people with wealth from across the country. Through community-building activities, workshops and discussions, participants inform, support, inspire, challenge, and share ideas with each other about class privilege, wealth, social change philanthropy and leveraging privilege for social change. Participants are primarily aged 18-35 and have or expect to have inherited and/or earned wealth. Many of the people presenting workshops and plenaries come from a range of class backgrounds and also fully participate in the retreat. MMMC is over 10 years old and is put on by Resource Generation, Third Wave Foundation, Tides Foundation and Funding Exchange.
If you are interested in attending and/or submitting a workshop proposal, check out www.makingmoneymakechange.org. Registration will open and RFP’s will be posted soon.
